Loving homes sought for bunny boys
Woodside Animal Sanctuary based in Elfordleigh, think they may have seven of the most unlucky baby bunnies. Six weeks on from their arrival the seven brothers are still looking for new homes.
Having come from a home where they were too many to cope with, the brothers arrived at Woodside aged just six weeks. They have received lots of cuddles and socialisation and are now super friendly boys.
Deputy manager Lisa Darcy said: “We are shocked that so far none of the boys have gone to new homes. They have fantastic characters and run to greet you as you approach. They will make fabulous pets. As with all youngsters they are curious and like to explore, cardboard boxes are a huge hit.”
“We do always have rabbits looking for new homes but rarely do we have so many babies who remain unreserved. Guinness, Malibu, Smirnoff, Archer, Tequila, Jager and Bulmer have to be someone’s tipple of choice!”
As rabbits are such sociable pets, Woodside are looking for the bunnies to be homed either in pairs or with an existing neutered female. Lisa said “All the rabbits that leave us are neutered and vaccinated for both Myxo and VHD”.
